The Department urges all health insurance issuers to reference the latest guidance from CMS on the implementation of the ACA’s preventive health service mandate. As noted in the FAQs, the state will not take enforcement action against issuers not previously applying preventive care cost-sharing prohibitions to items outlined in the FAQ for a period not exceeding 30 days from the date of publication of the FAQs.
