Procedure

Section 2050 Section 2050.110  Procedure a)         Rules may be proposed by the members of the Merit Board, the Executive Director, and members of the Department of State Police, but shall be filed only by the Merit Board Chairman. b)         Any interested person may request the Merit Board to make, amend or repeal a rule. 1)         The request shall be addressed to: Executive Director Department of State Police Merit Board 531 Sangamon Avenue East Springfield, Illinois 62702 2)         The petition shall contain a clear statement of reasons for the proposed rule, amendment or repeal and the exact language of the suggested new rule or amendment. c)         Rules adopted by the Merit Board shall be available to any requesting party. d)         Rules adopted by the Merit Board shall be available for public inspection during normal working hours at 531 Sangamon Avenue East , Springfield, Illinois.
