Section 2675.240Â Office of
the General Counsel
The members of the IELRB,
personally, and through the Office of the General Counsel under the general
supervision and direction of the General Counsel, perform the following
operations:
a)Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Reviewing all recommended decisions of its hearing officers,
Administrative Law Judges and Executive Director;
b)Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Drafting and issuing all unfair labor practice and
representation decisions of the Board;
c)Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Advising the Board on legal issues that arise in the course of
the Board's official duties;
d)Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Assisting the Office of the Attorney General in representing
the Board in all legal matters pending in the courts;
e)Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Representing the Board in legal proceedings before other
agencies and courts;
f)Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Conducting representation and unfair labor practice hearings
and issuing recommended decisions and orders;
g)Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Reviewing and revising the Board's Rules and Regulations.
