Purpose

Section 187 Section 187.100  Purpose The purpose of this Part is to implement a voluntary pilot program pursuant to Section 52.3 of the Act by which the Agency may enter into Environmental Management System Agreements or EMSAs with persons regulated under the Act to implement innovative environmental measures, even if one or more of the terms of such agreements are inconsistent with otherwise applicable statutes or regulations of the State.
