General Aviation

Section 211.2612  General Aviation " General aviation " means that segment of civil aviation that encompasses all facets of aviation except air carriers, commuters, and military.  General aviation includes charter and corporate-executive transportation, instruction, rental, aerial application, aerial observation, business, pleasure, and other special uses.
