Aerospace Coating Operation

Section 211.273  Aerospace Coating Operation "Aerospace coating operation" means using a spray booth, tank, or other enclosure or any area, such as a hangar, for applying a single type of aerospace coating at an aerospace facility.  Using the same spray booth for applying another type of coating (e.g., a topcoat after having previously applied a primer) constitutes a separate aerospace coating operation for which compliance determinations are performed separately.
