Certain Wood Waste Incinerators

Section 212 Section 212.183  Certain Wood Waste Incinerators Exception:  Section 212.181(a), (b) and (d) of this Subpart shall not apply to incinerators which burn wood wastes exclusively, if all the following conditions are met: a)         The emission of particulate matter from such incinerator does not exceed 458 mg (0.2 gr/scf) of effluent gases corrected to 12 percent carbon dioxide; b)         The location of such incinerator is not in a restricted area, and is more than 305 m (1000 ft) from residential or other populated areas; and c)         When it can be affirmatively demonstrated that no economically reasonable alternative method of disposal is available.
