Section 217 Section 217.450  Purpose The purpose of this Subpart is to cap the emissions of nitrogen oxides (NO x ) during the ozone control period from units subject to the provisions of this Subpart (budget units) by determining source allocations and by implementing the federal NO x Trading Program, 40 CFR 96, consistent with the provisions of this Subpart.
