Registration of Fleet Owners or Operators

Section 241 Section 241.112  Registration of Fleet Owners or Operators a)         An owner or operator of a covered fleet must apply for a fleet registration number on or before September 1, 1997, or within 60 days after becoming a covered fleet owner or operator, by providing the following information to the Agency: 1)         The owner's or operator's, and if applicable, the company's, name and address; 2)         Signature of the owner or operator; 3)         The location of records and reports required by this Part, including the contact person's name, address, and telephone number; 4)         The number of motor vehicles in the fleet; and 5)         The VIN for each motor vehicle and, if applicable, whether the motor vehicle is exempt pursuant to Section 241.111 of this Part and which exemption applies. b)         Fleet owners or operators shall include their fleet registration number on all reports or other correspondence submitted to the Agency for the Clean Fuel Fleet Program. c)         Fleet owners or operators participating in the credit program, as set forth in Subpart C of this Part, must register with the Agency by providing the information required in subsection (a) of this Section.
