Metals Translator

Section 301 Section 301.313  Metals Translator "Metals Translator" means the fraction of total metal that is dissolved in the effluent or downstream water.  The metals translator calculates a total metal permit limit from a dissolved metal water quality standard.  In the absence of site-specific data for the effluent or receiving water, the metals translator is the reciprocal of the conversion factor.
