Reissuance or Modification of Permits

Section 310 Section 310.505  Reissuance or Modification of Permits The Agency must modify or reissue a POTW's NPDES permit to accomplish any of the following: a)         Put the POTW on a compliance schedule for the development of a POTW pretreatment program if the addition of pollutants into a POTW by an industrial user or combination of industrial users presents a substantial hazard to the functioning of the treatment works, quality of the receiving waters, human health, or the environment; b)         Incorporate an approved POTW pretreatment program in the POTW permit; c)         Incorporate a compliance schedule for the development of a POTW pretreatment program in the POTW permit; or d)         Incorporate the removal credits established under Subpart C in the POTW permit.
