Potassium Permanganate
Section 604.1145Â Potassium Permanganate
Potassium permanganate may be fed with gravimetric feeders
or from batched solution fed from day tanks. For batched solutions:
a)Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â the
potassium permanganate added cannot exceed the solubility limits based on temperature;
and
b)Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â mechanical mixers must
be provided.
