Section 604.150Â Protection of Community Water Supply
Structures
a)Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Each
community water supply must protect its wells, clear water reservoirs, suction
lines, gravity filters, iron removal, chlorine reaction and wet salt storage
basins from sources of contamination by maintaining the following minimum
distances:

natural earth or fill. In addition, wells must meet the requirements of
Section 604.240(k).

elevation. In addition, wells must meet the requirements of Section
604.240(k).

storage tanks located at a community water supply facility must be above ground
and must have secondary containment.
