Groundwater Designations

Section 620.201Â Groundwater
Designations
All groundwaters of the State
are designated as:
a)Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â One of the following four classes of groundwater under
Sections 620.210 through 620.240:
1)Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Class I:Â Potable Resource Groundwater;
2)Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Class II:Â General Resource Groundwater;
3)Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Class III:Â Special Resource Groundwater; or
4)Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Class IV:Â Other Groundwater;
b)Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â A groundwater management zone established under Section
620.250; or
c)Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â A groundwater management zone established under 35 Ill. Adm.
