Section 722.305  Summary of the Requirements of this Subpart K An eligible academic entity that chooses to become subject to the requirements of this Subpart K is not required to have interim status or a RCRA Part B permit for the accumulation of unwanted material and hazardous waste in its laboratories, provided the laboratories comply with the provisions of this Subpart K, and the eligible academic entity has a Laboratory Management Plan (LMP) that complies with Section 722.314 which describes how the laboratories owned by the eligible academic entity will comply with the requirements of this Subpart K.
