Scope and Applicability

Section 814 Section 814.801  Scope and Applicability a)         The standards in this Subpart are applicable to all existing units of landfills, including those exempt from permit requirements in accordance with Section 21(d) of the Act, that accept potentially usable waste only or which accept low risk wastes. b)         All units that cannot demonstrate compliance with the requirements of Subparts B, F, or G of this Part, or that are scheduled to begin closure within two years after August 1, 1994, must begin closure within two years after August 1, 1994. c)         A new permit shall not be required for any facility at which all units will close within two years after August 1, 1994.
