Compost Classes

Section 830 Section 830.502  Compost Classes For the purpose of this Part, end-product compost must be classified in the following manner: a)         General Use Compost:  End-product compost which meets the standards set forth in Section 830.503. b)         Designated Use Compost: End-product compost which does not qualify as general use end-product compost.  Designated use compost must be used only as daily cover or vegetative amendment in the final layer at a landfill.  (Section 22.33(c) of the Act.)
