Section 2402
Section 2402.30 Definitions
"Department"
means the Department of Insurance and the staff and employees of the Department.
"Director"
means the Director of the Illinois Department of Insurance.
"Hearing"
means any hearing authorized by the Illinois Insurance Code.
"Hearing
Officer" means the presiding official designated by the Director to
conduct a hearing.
"License"
means the whole or part of any Department permit, certificate, approval,
registration, charter, membership, statutory exemption, or any other form of
permission.
"Licensing"
means the Department process of granting, renewing, denying, revoking,
suspending, annulling, withdrawing, limiting, amending, modifying or
conditioning a license.
"Order"
means the whole or any part of the final decision of the Director in any
hearing.
"Party"
means individuals, partnerships, corporations, associations, or public or
private organizations of any character or any other governmental agency
properly seeking and entitled to intervene in any Department proceeding.
