Purpose

Section 130.10  Purpose The Department is tasked by the Recovery and Mental Health Tax Credit Act [35 ILCS 50] with providing tax credit awards to certain qualified employers who employ eligible individuals diagnosed with a mental illness and/or substance use disorder to provide additional employment opportunities and expand the pool of potential workers in Illinois.
