Membership Terms

Section 2260.70  Membership Terms a)         Members appointed by the Governor shall serve a term of three years or until their successors are appointed. b)         Any member appointed to fill a vacancy occurring prior to the expiration of the term for which his or her predecessor was appointed shall be appointed for the remainder of that term. c)         The Board may request the replacement of a Board member if a member has attended fewer than half of the scheduled annual meetings. d)         Legislative members shall serve during their term of office in the Illinois General Assembly.
