Section 3100.450Â Inspections
a)Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â An inspection shall be carried out by an inspector or designee
from the Division authorized by the Act or other Illinois statute to carry out
the inspection.
b)Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â The inspector or designee upon entry shall:
1)Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â State the purpose of his or her inspection to the owner,
operator, agent or other person in charge of the premises to be inspected.
2)Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Present appropriate credentials to the owner, operator, agent
or other person in charge.
c)Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Appropriate credentials for the making of an inspection shall
include but are not limited to a duly issued identification card, badge, etc.,
of the Division for the inspector or designee.
d)Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â A designee is an employee of the Division with the training
and expertise equivalent to an inspector of the Division.
