Staff Responsibility for Medical Records

Section 390 Section 390.1670  Staff Responsibility for Medical Records The facility shall designate a staff member skilled in record maintenance and preservation who shall be responsible for maintaining and preserving medical records.  If the designated person is not a health information management consultant, then the designated person shall receive consultation from a health information management consultant in order to meet the medical record requirements of this Part.
