Eligibility for Grants

Section 596 TITLE 77: PUBLIC HEALTH CHAPTER I: DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH SUBCHAPTER h: GRANTS, LOANS, SCHOLARSHIPS, AND WAIVERS FOR HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONAL STUDENTS, PATHOLOGISTS, AND PROVIDERS PART 596 ILLINOIS RURAL HEALTH CODE SECTION 596.300 ELIGIBILITY FOR GRANTS Section 596.300  Eligibility for Grants The following entities are eligible to apply for grants through this Subpart: a)         Health centers funded through sections 329, 330 or 340 of the federal Public Health Service Act; b)         Federally qualified health centers, including FQHC Look-Alikes, as designated by the federal Public Health Service or by the Department; and c)         Not-for-profit organizations with an advisory board meeting the FQHC requirements and having the goal to become an FQHC or FQHC Look-Alike.
