Employer Responsibility

Section 515 Section 515.170  Employer Responsibility a) No employer shall permit any employee to perform any services for which a license, certificate, or other authorization is required under the Act, unless the employer first makes a good faith attempt to verify that the employee possesses all necessary and valid licenses, certificates, and authorizations required under the Act. (Section 3.160(a-5) of the Act) b) Any person or entity that employs or supervises a person's activities as a First Responder or Emergency Medical Dispatcher shall cooperate with the Department's efforts to monitor and enforce compliance by those individuals with the requirements of the Act or this Part.  (Section 3.160(b) of the Act)
