In-Office Sales Promotions

Section 682 Section 682.185  In-Office Sales Promotions Hearing instrument manufacturer representatives, who are not Illinois licensed hearing instrument dispensers/audiologists, conducting in-office sales promotions are prohibited from consumer contact prior to the testing of hearing and recommendation of a specific hearing instrument by an Illinois licensed hearing instrument dispenser/audiologist.  The testing or evaluation of a consumer, using electro-acoustic equipment, by a manufacturer's representative who is not an Illinois licensed hearing instrument dispenser/audiologist is prohibited.
