Sinks

Section 890 Section 890.1760  Sinks a)         All sinks for food preparation or cleansing of utensils used to prepare food shall be of stainless steel (Type 304) construction, including framework and reinforcing. b)         All welds shall be ground smooth, and exterior surfaces polished. c)         All sinks shall be provided with waste outlets at least one and one-half (1 ½) inches in diameter.  A crossbar, strainer, or other means shall be provided to restrict the clear opening of the waste outlet.  No kitchen sink basket shall be less than three and one-half (3 ½) inches in diameter. d)         Waste lines and water supply lines shall conform with Sections 890.130 through 890.1600.
