Purpose and Scope

Section 795 Section 795.10  Purpose and Scope a)         This Part provides for the issuance of a permit to operate a tanning facility using ultraviolet lamps, and regulation of the maintenance and operation of tanning facilities. b)         In addition to the requirements of this Part, all facilities are subject to the applicable provisions of other statutes or rules incorporated in this Part. c)         Nothing in this Part shall be interpreted as limiting the intentional exposure of patients to ultraviolet radiation for the purpose of treatment or use by a physician licensed to practice medicine in all of its branches.
