Lead Inspector Responsibilities
Section 845.160Â Lead Inspector Responsibilities
Any individual conducting lead inspections in regulated
facilities in Illinois is required to be licensed as a lead inspector in
accordance with the Act and Section 845.125. The licensed lead inspector is
responsible for the following:
a)Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Compliance with the Act
and this Part;
b)Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Conducting lead
inspections in accordance with Section 845.210;
c)Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Conducting
final clearance evaluations in accordance with Section 845.225;
d)Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Using procedures that:
1)Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Ensure the safety of
the occupants of the regulated facility; and
2)Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Control
dust and debris produced during lead inspections; and
e)Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Submitting quarterly
reports to the Department identifying:
1)Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â The
number of lead inspections conducted, including the addresses of the regulated
facilities; and
2)Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â The
number of final clearance evaluations conducted for lead mitigation and lead
abatement projects, including the addresses of the regulated facilities; and
f)Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Maintaining records
required by Section 845.230.
