Section 950.30Â Grant
Notification
a)Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â The Department shall award funds based upon the application
process. The exact amount and number of grants will depend upon the amount of
funds available to the Department and the number of applications received and
approved.
b)Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â The Department may award an amount less than the amount
requested in an application.
c)Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â The Department shall prepare grant agreements and award
transmittal letters. Receipt of the transmittal letter and grant agreement for
signature by the applicant shall constitute notification of a grant award.
d)Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Applicants who are not awarded grant funds shall be notified
in writing by the Department.
e)Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â The grant agreement shall not be sold, assigned, or
transferred in any manner. An actual or attempted sale, assignment, or
transfer of the grant agreement shall result in immediate termination and
automatically render the grant agreement null, void, and of no further effect.
f)Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â If the grantee ceases operation, then the grant agreement
shall be terminated. The grantee must notify the Department in writing by
certified mail within 10 days if the project or program operations have ceased.
g)Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â The general provisions of this Subpart apply to the entire
Part.
