Termination of the Grant Agreement or Funding

Section 960 Section 960.110  Termination of the Grant Agreement or Funding a)         The grant agreement may be terminated by either party upon 30 calendar days written notice to the other party as specified in the grant agreement. b)         The grant agreement may be terminated immediately without penalty of further payment being required if the Illinois General Assembly or federal funding source fails to appropriate or otherwise make available sufficient funds for the awards. c)         The Department shall be empowered to suspend funding or terminate the contract of a grantee who has substantially failed to comply with this Part and the terms and conditions of the grant agreement.
