Special Enrollment Periods

Section 2210.360  Special Enrollment Periods a)         Eligible Members may change their elections under the Program outside of the initial enrollment period or an annual open enrollment period only upon experiencing a qualifying change in status as defined by the Internal Revenue Service Code. b)         Election changes made by a Member due to a qualifying change in status must be consistent with the qualifying event the Member has experienced and completed within 60 days of the qualifying event. The Agency shall determine whether a requested election is consistent with the qualifying event. c)         The Agency shall determine the qualifying changes in status for which a special enrollment period may be granted to Members.
