Safety Program

Section 730 Section 730.600  Safety Program Each local exchange carrier shall adopt and implement a safety program, fitted to the size and type of its operations.  At a minimum, the safety program shall: a)         Require employees to use suitable tools and equipment in order that they may perform their work in a safe manner; b)         Instruct employees in safe methods of performing their work; and c)         Instruct employees who, in the course of their work, are subject to the hazards of electric shock, asphyxiation, or drowning, in accepted methods of cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
