Refunds to Users of Pay Telephones for Public Use

Section 771 Section 771.700  Refunds to Users of Pay Telephones for Public Use a)         No pay telephone provider shall knowingly charge for uncompleted calls or charge a rate other than as provided in the tariffs as may be applicable. b)         If the customer has paid for an uncompleted call or has been overcharged, a refund shall be made with interest from the date of overpayment by the customer.  The rate of interest shall be the rate as established by the Commission to be paid on deposits in 83 Ill. Adm. Code 735.120(h)(1).
