Section 790 Section 790.430  Switched Transport Interconnection – Availability of Expanded Interconnection Availability of switched transport interconnection shall be provided under the same terms and conditions as special access interconnection (see Section 790.410), except a LEC shall not be required to provide switched transport interconnection at any location where it is technologically unfeasible (see Section 790.415(f)). LECs may petition for, and the Commission shall grant, a waiver of the requirement to provide physical collocation if the FCC has granted a waiver due to the lack of space, or if, after hearings, the Commission finds that the LEC has demonstrated that it is not technically feasible to provide physical collocation at a particular location.
