Allowances for Increase in SSI Benefits

Section 113 TITLE 89: SOCIAL SERVICES CHAPTER IV: DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES SUBCHAPTER b: ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS PART 113 AID TO THE AGED, BLIND OR DISABLED SECTION 113.253 ALLOWANCES FOR INCREASE IN SSI BENEFITS Section 113.253  Allowances for Increase in SSI Benefits a)         A monthly allowance for $788.90 is authorized for all AABD cases as a "grant adjustment".  A grant adjustment is an allowance that ensures that the amount of the SSI increase from July 1977 and later will be available to clients. b)         EXCEPTIONS:  For clients whose assistance payments include an allowance for Sheltered Care or Care Not Subject to Licensing a "grant adjustment" of $10 is authorized.  Individuals residing in long term group care facilities do not receive any "grant adjustment".
