Payment for Psychological Services

Section 140 Section 140.496  Payment for Psychological Services a)         Payment is made to a psychologist in private practice in an amount which is the lesser of: 1)         The psychologist's usual and customary charges, or 2)         The prevailing rate determined by the Department based on the time involved and the tests administered. b)         Payment is made to State-aided Community Mental Health Clinics in an amount which is the lesser of: 1)         The clinic's usual and customary charges, or 2)         The Department approved per visit rate for the clinic.
