If a person's assessed
adaptive behaviors are lower than the assessed cognitive ability because of
behavior, then the overall functioning should be based upon the person's cognitive
ability.

which is/are currently active and affect daily living), level of functioning
should be based upon the person's adaptive functional behavior.
