Section 403 TITLE 89: SOCIAL SERVICES CHAPTER III: DEPARTMENT OF CHILDREN AND FAMILY SERVICES SUBCHAPTER e: REQUIREMENTS FOR LICENSURE PART 403 LICENSING STANDARDS FOR GROUP HOMES SECTION 403.25 STAFF TRAINING Section 403.25  Staff Training a)         There shall be an organized in-service training program to equip all group home staff to meet the individual and group care needs of the children. b)         The in-service training program shall include content designed to familiarize all group home staff with the licensing standards. c)         All group home staff must provide evidence of a completed Department-approved mandated reporter training, including a section on implicit bias, pursuant to the Abused and Neglected Child Reporting Act, within three months after their initial employment , and at least every three years thereafter. Documentation of completion of training must be on file in individual personnel records. [325 ILCS 5/4(j)] d)         If required by a child's hair care plan, child care staff shall complete training in a timely manner on how to provide culturally competent hair care for the child.
