Exemptions

Section 125 Section 125.110  Exemptions a)         Meat and/or poultry and meat and/or poultry products exempted from ante-mortem and post-mortem inspection requirements shall be as set forth in Section 5 of the Act.  Transportation of meat and/or poultry and meat and/or poultry products which are exempted from ante-mortem and post-mortem inspection shall be in accordance with Section 5 of the Act (i.e., they cannot be transported in commerce).  Labeling requirements on such exempted meat and/or poultry and meat and/or poultry products shall be as stated in Section 5 of the Act. b)         The Department incorporates by reference 9 CFR 303.2 (2004). c)         The Department incorporates by reference 9 CFR 303.1(e) and 9 CFR 381.10(e) (2004).
