Availability of Information Contained in Department Records for Inspection and/or Copying; Procedure to be Followed

Section 1 Section 1.500  Availability of Information Contained in Department Records for Inspection and/or Copying; Procedure to be Followed Information contained in public records maintained by the Department of Agriculture shall be available for inspection and/or copying by the public unless exempted from such inspection and/or copying in accordance with the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act ( Ill. Rev. Stat. 1991, ch. 116, par. 201 et seq.) and the rules adopted pursuant thereto (2 Ill. Adm. Code 701:  Subpart B).  When a person desires to inspect and/or obtain a copy of public records of the Department, the procedure to be followed shall be as set forth in the Freedom of Information Act and the rules adopted pursuant thereto.
