Section 442 Section 442.290  Tool Compartment (Purchaser's Option) a)         A fire-resistant container of adequate strength and capacity for storage of tools, chains, curriculum equipment, activity equipment, etc., may be installed.  If installed, the container shall provide reasonable security for its contents and shall be securely fastened to prevent the container or its contents from becoming accidentally dislodged. b)         If the storage container is not installed and tools, equipment, etc., are carried, each such item must be secured to prevent its becoming dislodged and causing injury to passengers.
