Section 107 TITLE 92: TRANSPORTATION CHAPTER V: ILLINOIS STATE POLICE SUBCHAPTER a: HAZARDOUS MATERIALS TRANSPORTATION REGULATIONS PART 3000 PROCEDURES SECTION 3000.1170 WARNING LETTER Section 3000.1170  Warning Letter a)         When the Department has reason to believe that a person is engaging in conduct which involves a violation of any provision of these regulations, the Director, or his authorized representative, may issue a warning letter which shall: 1)         Advise the person of the time, place and circumstances of the apparent violation; 2)         Advise the person that a subsequent inspection may be conducted to ascertain whether the violation has been corrected; and 3)         Warn the person not to repeat the violation in the future. b)         The warning letter shall be served in the manner prescribed in Section 107.11.
