Section 107 TITLE 92: TRANSPORTATION CHAPTER V: ILLINOIS STATE POLICE SUBCHAPTER a: HAZARDOUS MATERIALS TRANSPORTATION REGULATIONS PART 3000 PROCEDURES SECTION 3000.1400 REFERRAL FOR PROSECUTION Section 3000.1400  Referral for Prosecution If the Department becomes aware of a possible willful violation of the Act, or any provision of the regulations, the Department reports it to the Department's Office of Chief Counsel.  If appropriate, the Chief Counsel refers the report to the Attorney General or State's Attorney for criminal prosecution of the offender.
