TITLE 92: TRANSPORTATION CHAPTER V: ILLINOIS STATE POLICE SUBCHAPTER b: MOTOR CARRIER SAFETY REGULATIONS PART 3220 CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE AND ALCOHOL USE AND TESTING SECTION 3220.1000 PURPOSE AND APPLICABILITY Section 3220.1000  Purpose and Applicability a)         This Part establishes programs designed to help prevent accidents and injuries resulting from the misuse of alcohol or use of controlled substances by drivers of certain commercial motor vehicles. b)         This Part does not apply to drivers who operate covered farm vehicles as defined in 92 Ill.
