(410 ILCS 223/5) Sec. 5. Policy. It is the policy of the State of Illinois to make efforts to detect pediatric congenital ocular abnormalities that lead to premature death, blindness, or vision impairment unless treated soon after birth. (Source: P.A. 94-631, eff. 8-19-05.)
