(410 ILCS 535/23) (from Ch. 111 1/2, par. 73-23) Sec. 23. The State Registrar of Vital Records, local registrars, and county clerks, are hereby declared official custodians of vital records in this State, and shall maintain such records in a safe place. (Source: P.A. 76-678.)
