(415 ILCS 47/10) (This Section may contain text from a Public Act with a delayed effective date) Sec. 10. Purpose. It is the goal of the State of Illinois to protect residents from harmful toxins in drinking water. Accordingly, this Act directs the Agency to conduct statewide sampling of certain community water supplies for the presence of 1,4-Dioxane. (Source: P.A. 103-1077, eff. 1-1-26.)
