(55 ILCS 5/3-6011) (from Ch. 34, par. 3-6011) Sec. 3-6011. Special deputies. A sheriff may appoint a special deputy to serve any summons issued out of a court, by indorsement thereon, substantially as follows: "I hereby appoint .... my special deputy, to serve the within process," which shall be dated and signed by the sheriff.
