(625 ILCS 40/5-5) (from Ch. 95 1/2, par. 605-5) Sec. 5-5. Special Events. Nothing contained in this Article shall be construed to prohibit any local authority of this State from designating a special snowmobile event. In such case the provisions of this article shall not apply to areas or highways under the jurisdiction of that local authority. (Source: P.A. 77-1312.)
