(65 ILCS 5/1-2-8) (from Ch. 24, par. 1-2-8) Sec. 1-2-8. All fines, penalties, and forfeitures for the violation of ordinances, when collected, and all other money collected for a municipality shall be paid into the treasury of the municipality, at such times and in such manner as may be prescribed by ordinance.
